We found out after decades of experience that we couldn't stand our low shower head which tended to squirt one about 5 feet up on one's body. Forget about shampooing. One had to stick one's head under the thing, requiring considerable bending. When it hurts to bend, one is out of luck. So we had our handyman fix it so the spraying head was on the ceiling where it belonged. Note where the silly thing had exited the wall. As you can see, we replaced the old shower head with a T pipe that went up to a new pipe that went to the ceiling shower head. The other pipe went to a hand-held shower massager. The lever that controlled whether water went to the shower massager has an attached PVC pipe to increase leverage because of fibromyalgia.
